All you want is nest not the person

I received a call from Mr.D of Taiping early in the morning. Usually I don't switch on my phone unless after 9am. That day I forgotten to switch off my phone.

Mr.D : Good Morning Mr. James, How are you ? Hope I didn't disturb you so early.

Me: Oh no of course not (in fact yes). Where are you calling from and by the way who is on the line.

Mr.D : I am D..... from Taiping. I read you blog with keen interest. I have a farm in Taiping ..... 4 yrs old, I am not satisfy and very sad. No face to see my kakis who have farms.

Me: Y? That is a very very good location. Everybody wants to have a farm there if given an opportunity. That is a good place.

Mr.D : Not so Mr. James. My neighbour's on my right side is harvesting more than 7kgs/month, my friend's farm opposite the road is harvesting 8kgs/month and I only have 100 nests after 4 years.

Me: Have you tried to do something or find out what happened?

Mr.D : For 3 years I had tried everything. I have invited 3 consultants. Did 2 major renovations. 2 of them very famous consultants they are...Mr..and Mr...everybody knows them. The are very famous . U know them?

Me: Ah ya..so? It doesn't matter how famous they are what we want is nest not the famous persons. Are you interested in them or the nests?

Mr: D....wah don't say like that lah. How do I know the are good?

Me : Simple ..their answers will be..EVERYTHING NO PROBLEM, SMALL PROBLEM, LET US DO THE THINKING U DO THE MONEY COUNTING. Then u start to have problem.
You must get the right person to do the job. 1st must have the ability to find out the cause and problem. Then only can solve it. If one can not find the root to the problem then how to solve it right?

Mr: D: You are right. So what is the problem you think?

Me: Ah ya Mr.D.. How can I tell you over the phone before even see your farm. If I can then I no need to do farm visiting lah.

Mr.D : Ok..Ok...Can you come to see my farm? Can you please help me. I really need your help.

Me: Don't say that. Yes, I will help you but I have check my schedule first and plan out my things as I have some farms still under construction.

Mr: D..OK I will wait for your call. Thank you.

Poor Mr.D.. Well I have to plan out my things and pay him a visit and find out what actually happened to his farm.

Thru my experiences there are many cases like this where farms located in a good area with poor result. In most cases if the causes are being identified then solving the problem would be easy. Normally after revamp the favorable result could be easily seen within 3-6 months time.
