Owl on top of Roof

The above picture was taken at about 10pm when I was on my way back from Kedah after farm visiting.

My farm is located in the North of Selangor. Every time when I pass by even at late evening I make it a point to stop by my farm. I will stop by for half and hour to observe my farm from out side.

When I though everything was Ok until I saw a huge Owl standing right above the roof of my neighbor’s farm. I am very sure the Owl has only one intentions which is ambushing for swiftlets that coming back late. My neighbour’s farm is just 2 shop lots away from mine. I presume this has been the hunting ground for the Owl.

I used to observe this area in evening from 7-8pm so far I have not seen any Owl. It appeared after 10 pm. My farm located in the town area and never had I expected to see such big Owl.

It is always when you least expected things will happen. Well from now I have to do something to solve this predator problem.

My advice to all readers is that never take things for granted. Even if your farm is located in town area your farm should have Owl bard wire, nails on entrance hole, etc.
