Feng Shui In Swiftlet Farming.

Did you know that a successful Swiftlet farm is very much related to Feng Shui? Ha ha I bet you all didn’t notice. Well you may disagree with me if you wish but I’m extremely happy with my farm’s results that I had applied such technique or principle.

Why many swiftlet farms located in a Prime Zone area yet they failed badly while others at the same area within a short period of time could yield tens of kgs?

Why building a Swiftlet farm within 2 years have few hundred nests and the second one with the same design, the same lay out , the same material ,the same measurement , the same sound, the same everything yet after 3 years there are barely 20 nests. What has gone wrong?

In fact I have been observing this for a long time and I have been applying this Feng Shui philosophy in all my Swiftlet farms and the results of all these farms were fantastic.

I thought of keeping this as a Secret for my own benefit but think about it since it related to Feng Shui that practices balance and harmonizing with the nature and environment. Therefore I’m giving back the knowledge that I had acquired thru out all these years to balance back which is part of the Feng Shui practices and principal.

I can’t keep on acquiring and learning new techniques, I can’t keep on discovering new ways of making good farms and keeping the Secret to myself and so on. I need to give back and teach those who are in desperate need. These are those who would cherish the knowledge that I share with them.

As basic look at the nature of Swiflet farm which needs to be cool and dark in order to attract Swiftlet to stay. By nature the Swiftlet farm is already practicing Feng Shui whether the owner, the Consultants, etc know or otherwise.

There is a saying if you want a good home that helps you to prosper it needs to be “Wind Cool, Water Chilling” ( Fung liang, Sui Len). If you could have this effect then prosperity would comes later.

What if your home is 35dg and the air is very dry and every corners of your house is very bright without any curtains and so on could you live there healthily or could you have a good sleep every night? If you can’t how could you work the next day. If you can’t concentrate on your works or businesses could you business prospers? I guess 100% NOT

Well this too applies to Swiflet farming. We can’t run away from nature as we are a part of the nature. Sad to say so how many of you had observed this?

Many people trying very hard to improve the conditions of their failed farms but without knowing the reason of what they are doing or the after effect. They merely wanting to solve the problem yet they do not know how and what the consequences were thereafter.

Before we want to find solution to a problem we must understand not only where and how the problems arise. We must also need to know, does an action taken now would affect the other. Think about this, because most are interrelated. eg: reducing the size of the entrance –hole would reduce the light density but at the same time it also restrict and affect flying path of the birds. From the action of reducing the entrance hole two sign arise. 1) Positive sign reduce the light density and 2) Negative sign restrict the flying pat of the birds.

So there are a + and a signs. Most if not all would only concentrate on one of the sign only and neglected the other one. Can’t blame them they have no idea of these arising elements. Don’t have to look farm, look around some of the Swiftlet blogs (the not so active one) on the Net .Some claimed to be a disciple of a so called famous neighboring consultant and yet when you look at the way they revamp their own farms mistakes are clearly observed. One of the good examples is when one wants to increase the size of the entrance –hole after reading from books or advise from someone. They had totally forgotten about the arising elements.

The intention of having bigger entrance hole totally blocked their other sense of observation. They would never ever realized that the effect of a large entrance-hole? If their Sifu, idol or the books say so they would follow. This is what I call blind leading the blind. For newly built farms most would advise to have a larger entrance –hole reason being easy for birds to enter. Likewise this is not always the case. One of the arising elements from large entrance hole is more draught air flowing in causing unstable internal environment. The results more birds entering the farm but no nests in the end.

How many of you have observed this when building new farm or revamping failed farm? I guess perhaps only 2-3 % of those in this industry. They could be well known persons in this industry or perhaps have more than 20 years experience or perhaps have built hundred of farm to show in their portfolio but most have no idea what is going to happen.

You want to be a successful Swiftlet farmer think beyond what the books, sifu or seminars taught.

The success or failure of a farm is in your hand. We cannot blindly follow what others preach. We must weight and balance and never go again the nature. Never follow like a small chick following the Mother Chicken. Whenever the Mother Chicken goes the chicks will follows blindly.

We should observe the nature and go accordingly never try to swim again the current. If you did you will never reach your destination. The Ying Yang is constantly and always in all Swiftlet farms. It is how we balance it and make use of it to our benefit. We need to juggle with it till we find a perfect YinYang.

In most farms the Ying is too heavy or too much while other the Yang is too little. When both are in balance you would be laughing to the bank.

It takes me years to observe this and to learn this Feng Shui thing for Swiftlet farm. I am happy to have learned it therefore I am sharing it with you all.

Example: Ying Yang Imbalance “Too hot of a farm ends up fail. Too cold of a farm also ends up fail” so it has to be balance.

This not only applies for the environment .It applies to sound volume, structural, etc…….

Have you ever wonder how come you have attended so many seminars from A-Z, became the disciple of so many Sifus, have read all the Swiftlet farming books that is available, making someone your Idol and so on, you undertake to make your our farm yet it failed badly. Think about it.

That’s all for now. If I want to write it will never finish.

Good Swiftlet Farming All!
