( 2x5" of Brown color Meranti. ( dark red).This small Corner Board was recommended by a good friend of mine claimed to be one of the best corner boards and Birds Love it.
Thought I have not used it before but it makes sense and looks good. It costs less than the common corner board.
The size is 2x5” and it is cut out from high graded Merati and its dark brown in color. It is hard to get this type of wood quality. The common corner board in the market is of those lower graded wood which cost around Rm 1.40-1.60 and it is light red or pink in color.
This small corner board is only Rm0.95 each. The result is fantastic, it’s not new many farm in Indonesia and Thailand are using this type of corner board claimed my friend.
He recommends me to use it. Well I would give it a try and spray Love potion on it and see how it works.
Why it makes sense? Birds like to make nests at the 90dg corner. You could observe this in the all new Bhs. Instinctively most of the new nests started at the 90dg corner. Because of this many Bhs owners didn’t install corner board until after the first harvest. In a way 90dg corners helps Bhs to have nests faster.
So how do we accommodate this? We want the 90dg corners to help fast nests building at the same time we don’t want corner nests that fetch low price. So the Idea was to have a smaller corner board.
Well in a way it makes sense.
