This Bh belongs to Mr. K , a beautiful location which I had surveyed and I had specially positioned the Bh to take advantage of the green and its surrounding. I understand that many Bhs in the East Malaysia are poorly built even those that are heavily invested. It is really sad. Given the abundance of green and plenty of birds around but sad to say that not many know how to take advantage of it. I have seen many Bhs there, be it big or small many are poorly built in term of internal design.
Located on a small slope with a small ponds around. The land has been filled up so that the Bh could be placed at the side of the pond.
Initially Mr. K wanted to place the Bh on the top of the slope believing that it is the best location because he often heard that the higher the Bh located the better. No..No.. that is a very wrong perception. It not necessary and it is not true. It all depended on the surrounding of the areas as whole. We must also take consideration of all other things ( the surrounding, the green, the slope, the birds roaming areas, the wind,etc) as well. Don't forget the "Feng Shui" it plays a part in it, everything must be in balance. I explained to him the technical aspect and the reason behind the best location. I wonder how many have ever thought of this....perhaps none. 
The height of the every floors and the location of the staircase have been pre-calculated don't take them likely. If the staircase is at the wrong location it will block the Bird's flying part. Most consultant and contractor would build staircase based on their conveniences without observing Bird's flying path.
These are the pond area and the greens where the birds come to play and find food everyday. So the the position of the entrance hole and the building is extremely important.
Nice and beautiful location. Can't wait until it has completed. I am very confident that it will do well given the fantastic external factor here and all i need to do is to complement it with a good internal design, good set up, good sound system, planking formation and maintenance.I have built many Bhs for my Readers at those Swiftlet War Zone area which competition is extremely stiff and yet they managed to win..... In area like these it is a Bingo!
