We have seen Hotels converted into Swiftlet farm, We have seen Cinemas as well, we have seen Shopping complexes converted into Swiftlet farm. Have you seen a School being converted into Swiftlet farm? I guess not.
Here it is, as I was on my way to P.Dickson to set up the sound system for my reader's Bh I saw this in Lukut. Well for those who are from here it seems nothing special but for those who have never seen this before this might be something unique or jaw dropping experience.

I guess this must be an old school which had been deserted or no longer in use. But the condition of the building still looks good. It is a 3 storey building and the whole 2nd floor is Swiftlet farming.

Even the canteen is not spared. It has a Dog Kennel on top of it. The entrance hole had been sealed off. I guess the owner had discovered that birds don't like to fly in from here.

Making it worse, no wonder bird don't like this entrance because of the graffiti on the wall of the entrance hole. I have seen many failed farms with similar painting on its walls. Please avoid painting all these birdy things at the entrance hole. It scares the birds more than attracting them.
Swiftlets are smart and intelligent birds, they won't be easily fooled. They are smarter than you may have thought.
