I have not been writing for a while as I was busy with the Research
and Development of the 3rd Generation Love Potion. I am working towards recording data and
findings to push Love Potion the New 3Rd Generation to a new level,
to increase nests and bird population beyond 3 or 4 folds. ( Perhaps even more so that it
could feature in more documentary).
People have been calling to congratulate me after seeing
Love Potion on ASTRO ‘NATGEO”.
I thank them for their compliments. Now you know why after 7
years Love potion is still going strong while other brands disappeared. While
many disappeared, but new ones keep coming only those know very little about Swiftlet
farming would try the new brands. I guess they will disappear soon as well.
With surprise, there were quite a number of former users of Love Potion called me to
place orders. I have not heard from them for more than 6 months and suddenly now
they want Love Potion desperately, and for the last two weeks Love Potion was
out of stock. Some of them have to wait for a week or more. My apology for
running out of stock.
I asked them what actually transpired this?
One of them replied:
“ James,
the last six months I’ve tried other new aromas recommended by friends and some
shop owners. It is cheap I thought I could give it a try. It leaks everywhere. It can’t spray properly. It
didn’t work. It is totally faulty. No increases in nests and bird population.
In fact the bird population reduced during that six months of using those aromas.
So now I switched back to the trusted Love Potion. It is silly of me like to try new things. I have learned my
lesson well”.
For me these few weeks have been kind of excitement and laughter.
One funny Swiftlet farmer even called and ask for free Love Potion to try out.
By the way his name is..Mr. K from Klang.
“ Mr. James, could you send me a bottle of Love Potion to try out
first? “
“Oh… Mr.K.. I supposed you have not used Love Potion before. I am sorry
Mr. K. We do not provide free sample. As
you could see Love Potion is well known,
established since 2008 and sold in many
South East Asia countries. Many Swiftlet farms had used it with success.”
“Mr. James, I don’t understand why you can’t give me a free bottle of
Love Potion to try out. Other people can give me their aroma free you know… not
just 1 but 2 free. I buy one they
give me 2 free so I got 3 now… you know”.
“Wow… Mr. K.. That is good for you. This is the first time I hear that.
Then you should not use it. If I were you I wouldn’t want to try the free
aroma.”
“ Why Mr. James… why wouldn’t you want to try the free aroma.?”
“Mr. K… simple if it is that good and effective you think people would
give it for free. We are not talking about 1 free, It is crazily buy 1 get 2
free. Tell me any goods in the world which is well known, reliable, trustworthy
and effective would give such offer buy 1 get 2 free? Perhaps a discount but definitely
not buy 1 get 2 free. I understand after you have bought 1 then they sent you 2 for free. The products must be unsalable,
unsafe, having problem, ineffective, overstock, just to clear to get back
money, unreliable, harmful, rejected goods, expired, wrong formulation… the
list can go on and on. So do you still want to take the risk? Why don’t you go
and try it and tell me Mr.K”.
“Like that ah, Mr. James, very scary la. Aiyo, I don’t think I want is
also”.
He was shocked and told me why didn’t he thought of that. I
told him if you want to become a successful Swiftlet farmer you must think beyond
or outside the box.
There is none well known established product in the world
would give such offer buy 1 and get 2 free later. For example, Nike shoes….
Don’t expect that. If it does you are
sure of buying a fake or outdated or rejected goods, etc..
So this is an exciting and laughter month for me.
