A Beautiful Swiftlet Farm

I was travelling and saw this beautiful Swiftlet farm. Tranquility, beautiful scenery, a Swiftlet farm built next to a saltwater pond. These saltwater ponds are for rearing Siakap and Grouper. Many would want to own a similar Swiftlet farm like this.

There is a small house below the farm. A good weekend gets away. It is a hobby, leisure, and a good investment. All in one.

But,  I noticed something, they are few exhaust fans on the walls. Mmmmm.....................why needs so many exhaust fans? The internal environment must have problems.

Later I was told  that  the internal condition does have some problems. My assumption was correct. Well, look at the bright side the scenery and the surrounding superseded all.

Not far down the same road, there is another Swiftlet farm. Guts instinct tell me this one is doing better. It has changed the Entrance hole to a Dog Kennel type.

I hope the owner knows that the Dog Kennel helps to reduce movement of air and light. According to the local, this Swiftlet farm starts later ( after the one next to the pond) and it is doing many times better.

Both Swiftlet farms are built on a same good location, A wonderful place and all it needs is a good designed Swiftlet farm. But how many people are lucky enough to find a knowledgeable and skillful Sifu to built ( design) for them?

If a Swiftlet farm is designed  poorly, even in a good location it would not guarantee success.

Enjoy the pictures.

Good Swiftlet farming All!
