It is expected, as the price of raw nests has increased tremendously lately. Thieves broke into one my of Swiftlet farms last week.
You can take what you want but please spare the life of the young chicks. Sad, real sad.... all eggs, chicks, and young birds were left to die on the floor. Sorry, I won't be showing the pictures of the dead chicks and young birds, as I have high respect for them.
There are 5 units of Swiftlet farms here at a roll of shop lot. Among the 5 farms, they decided to break into my farm.....KNNBCB.
They didn't come in from the Entrance hole as I have installed alarm there, neither the front door. They removed the heavy asbestos roof. These are old shops which are using the thick 4mm hardboard. They removed the nails properly without breaking the board. It is the works of professional or people who are well versed in this industry.
I have two layers of ceilings. On top of the common ceiling, there is another thicker cement board to protect it from heat and thief. Both were smash broken.
That is why people are installing barb wire, double layered metal roof and even some with a 24-hour security guard.
Well, this is part and parcel of Swiftlet farming industry where all successful farms will somehow encounter it.
A really bad day for me.
