After being out of stock for more than 3 months finally, the HI-Nest GS 18 Tweeter is here. Many of my customers are willing to wait for the Gs18 Tweeters stock to arrive.
I told them that they could use other brands of Tweeters in the market, but many are reluctant to do so. They had used it before and within a few weeks, Swiftlets started to build nests in their Swiftlet farms. Interestingly, the nests were built right on the Tweeters itself.

Why is the Gs18 Tweeter is more superior? To understand this, let see the differences inside these tweeters.
Below pictures, on the left is a tweeter well known and used by many. It is without a curve line.
On the right is the GS-18 Tweeter with curved line embossed on the paper board. Most manufacturers would skip this manufacturing process as it would incur more cost. In other words, you are paying more but getting lower quality product.
The curved line is important as it helps to produce better sound and prolongs the life of the tweeter.
When the tweeter is clamped with screws, both casings the front and back will hold the paper board in position.
It creates a vacuum at the back part where the copper coil is located, thus creating a solid and more crisp sound.
As we know when the paper board vibrates it creates sound. The curved line prevents the paper board from moving from its original position as its vibrates. The one without the curved line will soon move away from its original position. Once moved, the sound from the tweeter will be softer and distorted.
