My reader me called yesterday and ask whether there is any Nailer gun that doesn’t require an Air-compressor?

My answer was yes. It is the Electric Nailer. In fact I have been using it for a while. It is very handy because you don’t need a compressor and there is no air hose attached. It is very convenient especially for light usage.

For nailing the planks and corner boards I used to bring along with me the compressor but it is heavy. I often ask the Hardware shop owners do they have any smaller compressor which is light that could be carry easily. As all of us knew to carry the compressor to 3rd floor just to fix few corner boards or do some repair works doesn’t justify the effort of carrying it.

I always wanted something small that I could carry with me when I go outstation. In fact I have seen this type of nailer many years ago on the Web but it wasn’t available in Malaysia then.. This Nailer was recommended by a friend of mine who is from Perak. He installed all his plank works with this Electric Nailer. (a 2 storey farm)

I suggest that those who owned farm should get one or have one in their farm for wood repair. With this nailer you could work alone. It solved all the problems of …your left hand holding a nail, your right hand holding the hammer then whose going to hold the corner board or planks? You don’t need one if you are the type of Dude that would call in a contractor or an Indon just for anything.

With this Electric Nailer you could nail the corner boards perfectly. It operates by a spring with electric power. It is light weight. Best of all it could load up to 35mm brad nails but I prefer to use 30mm. 30mm is sufficient enough to nail the corner board and plank to plank.

Obviously pound to pound compares to the compressor type nailer this Electric nailer is less in power but for all Meranti wood it is good enough to drive the brad nails thru.

You won’t regret to own one but if you don’t have one I bet you would regret. Made in Taiwan not China. I rated the quality “5 Stars”.
