These are the videos of thousands of bird swarming into the farms. It has got to do with good external and internal sound generated by good Amplifiers and Tweeters that could transmit the correct frequency.
As I have written before without frequency there is no sound. Different mammals, produce different frequencies when they communicate. It has got nothing to do with loudness. If loudness is the answer then all we need to do to attract birds is to increase the volume of our Amplifier. But that doesn't work.
Couple of days ago, a reader called and wanted an Amplifier that could at least support 500 tweeters.
"Sifu James, do you have an Amplifier that could support more than 500 tweeters?"
I was surprised to hear that. After so many years of providing resourceful information on the internet, yet people still don't get it . An Amplifier that could support such a big number of tweeters doesn't mean it is a good Amplifier. In fact I wouldn't want such Amplifier.
We are not here to compete whose Amplifiers could hold more Tweeters. We are here to compete whose Swiftlet farm has more nests. It seems it has strayed from its Swiftlet farming objective.
Good quality sound and big power Amplifier are two different things. Good quality sound means the frequencies generated by an Amplifier are in the hearing capability of Swiftlets ( Khz).
A very loud sound generated by a powerful Amplifier may not transmit the correct frequency. Therefore it is common to see Swiftlet farm with loud external sound but unable to attract many birds.
Most Amplifiers ....I would say 90% is not designed for Swiftlet farming use. They may be branded or packed to look as it is for Swiftlet farm use. In reality they came from the same Karaoke stock which designed and tuned for human use (frequency set for vocal). The only different is the packaging and the exterior looks.
Therefore you could find "Mic inlet and outlet", "MIC volume control", etc.
My friends used to make fun of those who used these Amplifiers. " Look at the bright side" he said,
"In the event if the Swiftlet farm failed you still can turn your Swiftlet farm into a Karaoke lounge".
My customers once asked me. " James, there are so many Tweeters and Amplifiers for Swiftlet farm in the market who do you still come with your own Tweeters and Amplifier?" He was referring the the HI-Nests B-52 Swiftlet frequency Amplifier and the GS18 Tweeter.
My answer was simply. I can't find what I was looking for. Through my years of experience I have tested so many Tweeters and Amplifiers. Non could really score A in my sheet card, therefore I have no choice but to find something that really could lure Swiftlets into farm to stay and to build nests.
Swiftlet farm is all about having all good combinations from sounds equipment use to aroma.
