This is the Stand Alone farm that I revamp in A.Setar. The entrance hole has been enlarged. The other 3 entrance holes are sealed. Initially there is no Hexagonal Tweeter. Now a Hexagonal tweeter is fixed to attract birds from far.
.
.
A new 2nd entrance hole is created and the old one is sealed. The old 2nd entrance hole was located on the wrong position/side. I wonder why didn't the person entrusted to build this farm think about it before he decided to place the 2nd entrance hole.
.
.
Well, I shouldn’t have asked such question. If he had placed them at a good and right place then this farm won't need to be revamped. Then I wouldn't be doing it now.
There are 16 exhaust fans in this farm. It shows the person entrusted to build this farm has got no idea how to make a good micro. He is unable to control the micro therefore 16 exhaust fans were used to cool down this farm.
.
.
It is like creating a problem first then find ways to solve it. At the first place why do you want to create problems? I guess most didn't even realize that they themselves are the roots to the problem. They had created problem without knowing it.

(Exhaust fans in farm before removal)
.
.
.If you know how to create or make a good micro then you won't need to have all these exhaust fans.
.
.
All these exhaust fans were removed and the holes were sealed. I have created additional ventilation hole with 4" pvc pipe at the appropriate walls.
..
.
.At the same time Motorola Quality tweeters were fixed at strategic areas of the 1st and ground floor to attract Swiftlets to fly deeper into the farm. The sound quality from these tweeters is fantastic says the owner. He says he can hear the differences. All the old tweeters which I call speakers as all of them come with a magnetic coil at the back of the speakers were removed.
These types of speakers which I don't call them tweeters are good for acoustic & instrument. There are not piezo which the frequency could travel far therefore the sound from these speakers won't attract many birds.
Good Luck.
