( these babies Swiftlets are still blind )Now there are many baby birds come out from farms. It is a good time to lure them to your farm now. As many as possible. Once they like your farm they will stayed. When maturity comes and when they are ready to mate. You can assure it will be many nests in your farm.

How do we do this? Well I would call it conditioning & adaptation technique. It related very much to the environment where the birds grow up. As I had mentioned in my earlier article, Baby birds hatched from eggs were blind. They can not see anything. The closes things they could sense is smell. The smell of the farm (environment) has been part of their life as they growing up. So if your new farm or old farm has no smell (Aroma) what would happen? The answer is simple "not attractive farm". Though your Swiftlets sound might be good they may come and play everyday and even enter your farm but when it comes to nest making they will find a good place (environment) that is similar to the smell of what they had been conditioned to.

If one had visited farms that have more than 1000 nests they know how it smell like inside. The baby birds spend months inside these AROMA infested environment before they are independent enough to fly out on their own. Who says Aroma is not import? Ask yourself .Logically you already have the answer.

Love Potion was made with the purpose of making farm's environment favorable to birds. The idea behind Love Potion was to make birds stay and make nests. Thru my experiences many had complained that many birds come to their farms to play whenever a new sound is played but they never stayed and make nests.

So the Love Potion was invented to counter such problem. It was a pain staking research to find the formula. Somehow with God grace and trial and error the formula was found.

The Love Potion smell will condition young birds to stay in farms. Most had interpreted wrongly when it comes to Aroma. Many had put bags bla....bla.... etc in farms. The smell really can choke your lung and kill you. The combination of things they put in farms bla...bla.. thru reaction would eventually turned out to be certain poisonous gases or smell. Some of these smell actually disliked by birds. This is not what the birds wanted. Of course there are good and bad. Secondly never mixed or use different type Aroma in farm at a same period. If you use too many type or mix them together the reaction from mixing them will produce different kind of smell that maybe disliked by birds. The effectiveness would not be there anymore.
Aroma is one of the most important factors amongst temp, Rh, etc. We can not take Aroma lightly if you want to speed up nest growth and population you can not forgo Aroma.

Ask ourselves have we done the best for our farms? Have we made sure the condition is favorable to Swiftlet? Do we deserve few kgs of nests in the shortest period of time with what we had done? Only you yourself have the answer. Don't blame others.

If not then we don't deserve it. Perhaps the farms next door deserve it. That is why we can clearly see some farms within a short period of time could have many nests while others have none.
