抵達沙巴之後，我們直接去燕屋農場，一個離哥打京那巴魯不遠的小鎮。我那天的行程是參觀一個單層20x80尺的燕屋農場，採用了狗洞的設計。當我檢查完畢的時候，已經是傍晚7點了，參觀完燕屋農場之後，已經是很疲乏和筋疲力盡的，然後和燕屋主吃晚餐，我要求早點回去我的酒店，因爲在飛行的前一晚我是4點才睡的。

當我抵達酒店的時候，我的意圖是要馬上上床睡覺的。像往常一樣我會看看我的電子郵件和回復一些電郵才睡的。就在我像往常一樣......我收到從T先生和T太太發來的電子郵件，Love Potion的忠實用戶，收到此驚人的電子郵件。他們每個月從未間斷過得使用Love Potion，不管是噴灑或直接倒入噴霧器來使用Love Potion。

我很高興收到這封電子郵件，並祝賀他們取得這麽好的成就。一對非常謙虛和親切的夫婦，他們是在2011（8月15日)開始他們的第一個燕屋農場。

以下是來自T先生和T太太的電子郵件。我計畫儘快到訪這個燕屋農場，自己觀察它，要看看Love Potion如何幫助了他們來在短短2年的時間内達到1000個燕窩，精確來説應該是1年半的時間，因為他們開始了6個月的時間才使用Love Potion。

談到位置，我們燕屋農場的旁邊是一座山是一座保留森林（我們的燕子總是往山的方向回來)，那一座山的後面，是一個油棕園，我們是不是可以說食物的來源在將來不會是個問題嗎？

靠近我們燕屋農場周圍有2閒燕屋農場。一個是比我們的大一年，另外一個是和我們同一年開始的。這兩間燕屋農場的收成似乎不那麼樂觀。

我們有計畫要申請一筆貸款來建另外一閒燕屋農場（也許離現有的燕屋農場不遠的地方），但是最近原始燕窩的價格一直偏低，而我們是很傷心的。

基於上述的結果，你認為是否太快要建另外一閒燕屋農場呢？或者等待達到一定數量的燕窩才建另外一閒呢？

One Thousand Nests in 1.5 Years With Love Potion and GS & P9 sounds.

After arriving in Sabah, we headed straight to a Swiftlet farm not far away from K. Kinabalu town. My schedule for that day is to visit a single storey 20 x 80 ft Swiftlet farm adopting a Dog Kennel design. By the time I had finished viewing, it is already 7pm. Tire and exhausted after the farm visit and a dinner with my host I requested to go back to my hotel early as I slept at 4 am the day before my flight.

As I reached the Hotel, my intention is to hit the bed. As usual I will check my email and make some replies before I sleep. As I did.... I receive this astonishing email from Mr and Mrs.T, a diehard user of Love Potion. They use Love Potion on a monthly basis without fail, spraying and pouring it into the humidifiers.

I am very happy to have received this email and congratulates them on their achievements. A very humble and kind couple who had started their first Swiftlet farm 2011 (Aug 15).

Below is the email from Mr. and Mrs.T. I am planning to visit this Swiftlet farm soon and observe it myself and see how Love Potion has helped them in achieving  more than 1000 nests in less than 2 years..... to be precise 1.5 years as they only started to use Love Potion after it had operated for 6 months.

The combination  of Love Potion, GS-9 external sound and P-9 Internal sound had helped the nests growth immensely.

First of all, my husband is your big fan (every day he must check your blog for any new update), and he has some questions and hope to get your advice.

Our birdhouse opened sound on 15 Aug 2011. After 6months, we only started to use love potion and after sometimes only changed the external sound to GS-9. Two months ago, after using the remix  p9 we can see  an obvious change in the nest growth.

Please have a look at our records of the nests and obvious 打底 (count together)

25 NOV 2012 -Ground floor(198), 1st first (225), second floor (235).

1 May 2013 -Ground floor(232), 1st first (267), second floor (276).

18 Aug 2013 -Ground floor(337), 1st first (338), second floor (327).

On 27 Aug 2013, we sold about 8.3kg, own taken say about 1kg.

Talk about location, next to our birdhouse is a mountain as hutan simpanan (our birds always come back from the mountain direction), after the mountain, there is an estate of palm oil, could we assume that food source will not be a problem in future?

Close to our birdhouse there are another 2 birdhouses. One is  a year older than ours, and another one started the same year. Both results seemed not so cheers.

We do plan to get a loan to build another birdhouse (maybe  not far from our existing birdhouse) but lately the price of raw nests has been low, and we are really upset.

Based on the above results,  Do you think it is too fast  to build another birdhouse ? Or wait until a certain number of nests then only build another one?

I believe if one does it properly from good micro to good farm design and from choosing the right Aroma to right Sound to get a few thousand nests in a short period of time is not impossible.

In the above case Mr and Mrs.T had proven it again good Aroma and sound are vital. Never a afraid of changing Swiftlet farm's sounds the only fear is that you might have changed the wrong sound. It means you may have bought the wrong sound from people you believe is professional but there are not.

Sabah Swiftlet Farms Visit 燕屋農場參觀-沙巴之行

I will be in K.Kinabalu and Sandakan on the 26-30 Oct  to visits 4 Swiftlet farms. This visit was initiated by Mr.C of K.Kinabalu. He is my blog reader and a Swiftlet farming enthusiast. I had known him for a few years now all started when he called to ask questions about  his Swiftlet farms.

He has built these four Swiftlet farms himself after attending few seminars. It seems all four Swiftlet farms are not doing that well even though they are located at a good location. It seems the seminar he had attended doesn't help him at all.

Prior to this he has briefed me about the conditions of the Swiftlet farms. It doesn't seem good. It is too early to make judgement now. I have to look at it first  before I could recommend solutions.

The major problem he is facing now is whenever he switched on the sound Swiftlets would avoid flying closer to his farm. Could you believe this? The sound system is a real threat to his swiftlet farms.

到處都是羽毛.....那是什麽意思呢？ FEATHERS ARE EVERYWHERE...WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

"James這些照片是從我的燕屋農場拍的。使用了第3代Love Potion，我能看到許多羽毛和白色的燕子屎在地板上，你可以為我解釋這些嗎"。

從吉隆坡的G先生擁有一間燕屋農場在南部（對不起，燕屋主指示不可以揭露位置）。在他退休之後，他從別人接管下這個燕屋農場大約一年多的時間了。它是一個1層半的建築物和它有約50多個燕窩在裏面。

自從那時以來，燕窩並沒有增加很多。他的朋友擁有一個非常成功的燕屋農場建議和鼓勵他使用Love Potion。過了一個月之後，他拍了一些照片，他想要我的解釋。

他從來沒有見過這麼多的羽毛，他不知道它指示什麽。G先生對於養燕甚少瞭解，而且他經常打電話來問問題。他是一個熱衷的學習者和我是一個熱衷的老師...哈...哈...哈...

有兩件事，是我們經常要留意，被燕子留下的痕跡。通常所有這些痕跡將可以提示一些現象如果你知道如何解釋它們，否則燕子屎仍然是燕子屎...羽毛仍然是羽毛，沒有什麼特別的如果你知道關於養燕甚少。

白色的燕子屎和羽毛......，如果你看到很多這些，意思就是你的燕屋農場已經吸引了很多燕子居留。白色的燕子屎表明是青年的燕子和它們就是您燕屋農場的未來。你很少會看到這些在停滯的燕屋農場。

經常看到了這些白色燕子屎和羽毛之後，很快你就會看到燕窩的標記。平均需要約45天的時間。如果你發現白色燕子屎和羽毛在地板上，95%的機會是燕窩將建巢在上面。在這種情況下，如果你的燕屋農場有很多白色的燕子屎，加上羽毛您將很快會看到許多燕窩。

每個提示在您的燕屋農場都代表一些東西，如果您知道如何解釋它們，這也是一個額外的好處。

G先生還想知道他的燕屋農場的設計是否正確。根據他認為一切都是很好的、溫度是可以接受和濕度是平均在80%左右。但是他注意到大多數的燕窩被造在一個角落。他也完全不知道為什麼。他想知道。

他曾試圖給我解釋一下......他的設計.....還有...還有......，他是非常肯定他的燕屋農場處於完美的狀態。

"G先生...你的燕屋農場是有問題的，不然燕窩的數目一定可以增加。如果您的燕屋農場的條件是很好的...用了Love Potion它會有更多的白色燕子屎和羽毛"。

"哦......James我看很多的羽毛和白色的燕子屎，那麽我該怎麼辦。我真的需要你的幫忙?"

"G先生，不如你給我您燕屋農場的設計。讓我先看一看，然後我才可以為你提供意見。沒有看到設計我很難給你評論。"

因此，一個星期之後G先生給我發了他燕屋農場的設計。（看以下）

你們大家是否可以看到這個燕屋農場出了什麽問題嗎？...很好，對那些有豐富養燕知識的人一定是有，那些也是養燕但是知識不多的人一定是沒有看出。

讓我們開始......，看看這個1.5層建築物的結構，前面部分有額外的半層，這意味著這是一個輕型工業建築。這個輕型工業大廈有什麼不對...沒有不對...如果不是所有，有99%是使用鋅屋頂。經常這個鋅屋頂與天花板之間的高度是很低的......它需要好的設計，考慮到熱。牆體和屋頂的防熱材料是必要的。你可以把氣泡鋁箔給忘了，這些根本行不通。建議使用雙層通風屋頂為長期。（我是正確的，G先生說它是一個工業單位）。

這個燕屋農場的溫度是不穩定的。它清楚地表明在設計中，多數的燕窩(33個燕窩)被造在A區。它們是在水池的下面，這是整個燕屋農場最冷決的地方。這是一個雙層防熱的角落、 上面是一個水池和水池的上面是一個屋頂。熱氣被這兩個遮罩了。

為什麼在B區中僅有8個燕窩雖然屋頂是較高而C區卻有更多的燕窩(14個燕窩)一個較窄的屋頂呢？理論上來説C區應該有更少的燕窩因為它狹窄的屋頂會溫度推高......我很確定G先生和很多人都會這樣問，是嗎？

B區、 看看它的設計與這個燕屋農場的適應過程，在這一區的燕子特別是這個燕屋農場更喜歡到較暗的區域造燕窩。強烈顯示在A區中，也就是水池的下面。這也是沒有直接光線的地方，因為它不是對面的入口洞。

相反過來B 區，位於對面入口洞，有直接的光線而且這會影響到B區因而燕窩數量比C區少.

雖然C區有較高的溫度，因為它的屋頂很狹窄，但是它還是吸引了更多的燕子與B區相比。這是與B區光的強度有關，如果正確的分區豎立在B區以減少光的亮度，我相信在很短的時間燕窩的數量將超過C區.

所以怎麽可以說...一切都是很好呢？

我已參觀和修改過無數的燕屋農場，有很多事情燕屋主自己本身是沒注意到的。在燕屋農場裏的每個現象都顯示一些東西。我們的燕屋農場是否成功就取決於我們如何解釋和糾正問題。瞭解所有這些跡象會幫助我們更好的管理我們的燕屋農場。

FEATHERS ARE EVERYWHERE...WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

"James this is the pictures from my Swiftlet farm. I could see many feathers and white bird shit on the floor after using 3rd Love Potion could you please interpret".

Mr.G from K.L owns a Swiftlet farm in the south (sorry owner advised not to reveal location). He took over from someone about a year plus ago for his retirement. It is a 1.5 storey building and it has about 50 plus nests inside.

Since then the nests have not increased much. His  friend who owned a very successful Swiftlet farm  recommended and encouraged him to use Love Potion. After a month, he took some pictures and he wants my interpretation.

He has never seen so many feathers before , he doesn't know what it indicates. Mr.G knows very little about Swiftlet farming he often calls for questions. He is a keen learner and I am a keen teacher.. ha.. ha.. ha..

(White shit patches and feathers cover the old black shits after using Love Potion. This is what we want.)

There are two things we often look for, the  traces that left by Swiftlets. Often all these traces tell tales if you know how to interpret them, otherwise shits remain as shits..feathers remain feathers nothing special to talk about if you know very little about Swiftlet farming.

The white shit and feathers...if you see lots of these it means your Swiftlet farms have attracted lots of birds to stay. The white shit indicate young birds and they are the future of your Swiftlet farms. You would rarely see all these in stagnated Swiftlet farms.

Often after the white shit and feathers appeared soon you will see nests markings. Averagely it takes about 45 days. If you found white shits together with feathers on the floor chances are 95% a nest will be built right above them. In such case if your farms have many white shit plus feathers you will see many nests soon.

Every trace in a Swiftlet farm tells something knowing how to interpret them is an added advantage.

Mr.G also wanted to know whether the design of his Swiftlet farm is correct. According to him everything is good, the temperature is acceptable and the average RH is 80%. But he noticed most of the nests were built in one area. He has no clue why this happened. He was to know.

He had tried to explain to me.. They design.. .. Blah.. Blah... and he is very certain his Swiftlet farm is in a perfect condition.

" Mr.G....there are problems in your farms otherwise the number of nests could have increased. If the condition of your farm is good..with Love Potion it would have even more white shit and feathers".

"Oh...James I do see lots of feathers and White shit then  what should I do. I really need your help?"

" Mr.G Why don't you send me  a sketch of your Swiftlet farm's plan. Let me have a look first then only I can advise you. Without seeing the plan it's hard for me to comment."

So a week later Mr.G sends me the plan of his Swiftlet farm. ( see below)

Can all of you see any fault in this Swiftlet farm? ...Well it is yes for those who have vast knowledge in Swiftlet farming and No for those who also do Swiftlet farming but with little knowledge.

Let's start...by looking at the structure 1.5 storey with the front part has and additional 0.5 storey that means this is a light industrial building. What is wrong with this light industry building ...nothing wrong.. But if not all 99% are using zinc roof. Often the height between the zinc roof and ceiling is very low...it needs good design that take into consideration of the heat. Wall and roof insulation material are needed. You can forget about bubble foil they don't work. Recommended Double Ventilated roof for long term.( I was correct Mr.G said it is an industry unit.) 

The temperature is not stable in this Swiftlet farm. It clearly indicates in the Plan , most nests (33 nests) were built at Area A. They were below the water pool area, this  is the coolest area in the farm. It is a double insulated area, the top is the pool and above the pool there is a roof. The heat is shielded by these two.

Why there are only 8 nests in Area B though the roof is higher while  Area C tends to have more nests (14 nests) with a narrower roof ? By theory Area C should have fewer nests because of its narrower roof that pushes up the temperature.... I am sure Mr.G and many of you would ask?

Area B , looking at the design and the adaptation process of this Swiftlet farm, birds in this area particularly this farm prefer the darker area to build nests. Strongly indicated in Area A which below the pool. This is the area which has no direct light glare from the Entrance hole as it is not located opposite the entrance hole.

Whereas Area B which is located opposite the entrance hole has the direct light glare and this affects Area B thus the number of nests is less than Area C.

Though Area C has a higher temperature due to its lowered roof but it still  managed to attract more birds than Area B. This has got to do with the intensity of light in Area B. If a correction partitioning is erected at Area B to reduce the glaring I believe in no time the number of nests would surpass Area C.

So how can one say ..everything is good?

I have visited and revamped many Swiftlet farms there are many things the owner themselves didn't notice. Every trace in the farm indicates something. The success of our farms depends on how well we interpret and rectify the problem. Understand all these signs would help us to manage our farms better.

太多燕子在裏面了。 要如何才可以收穫呢？ TOO MANY SWIFTLETS INSIDE. HOW TO HARVEST?

正當我要去倉庫的途中，因爲貨車司機正在等著我，我有一些貨物要寄到南部的時候，我的電話響了......響了又響。通常我不會接，因爲有好幾次被寫發單。

它一直在響......我只好把我的車停在一旁，而接了。我告訴我自己這個最好是一個重要的電話。

"James，我這裡有一個很大的問題。我無法收穫我燕屋農場裏的燕窩。我今年只是收穫了兩次。請問你能幫我嗎?"

"我的天..."

"是的，T先生...如果你這個月不能收穫，那就等下個月......啦。有什麼問題？"

"不是的。James每當我走進我的燕屋農場時，裡面總是有很多燕子"。

"這是很平常的啦...T先生......我肯定裏面一定有幾只燕子的"

"不是的，James...裏面有上百的燕子。有些燕子甚至撞上我而掉在地上的。我從來沒有見過像這樣。之前不是這樣的。自從我使用了你的燕聲之後，沒有一次是沒有燕子在裡面的......所以這樣如何收穫呢?"

"哇......T先生...這是太好了...現在您的燕屋農場有多少燕窩呢？

"在我換聲音之前它有大約200多個燕窩...現在有差不多一年的時間了，它有500多個燕窩。還有，現在裡面有太多燕子了，太過擁擠了。我也發現使用了您的聲音後，燕子的蛋也變大了，與以前相比。

哇...真的嗎......？

是的，James我不是在開玩笑的......我之前有收穫過，所以我知道......你別笑我。

這並不是誇大。事實上，這就是他告訴我的東西。真的替T先生高興，我有要求T先生把它記錄視頻和發電子郵件給我。希望在這幾個星期裡我可以收到。一旦我收到了，我將會在這裡發佈。他是使用Love Potion結合B-52和P9 Havoc。他不是第一個體驗這樣的人，它出現在很多使用Love Potion和B52技術組合的燕屋農場。

1） 最佳收穫時間上午10點到下午2點

2） 關掉所有的外聲和内聲

3） 等待20-30分鐘才進入燕屋農場。

4） 不要一大群人進入。一個一個來相隔10分鐘的時間。

5） 一旦您在裏面，確保所有的門都關閉好

6） 千萬不要在下雨天做收穫

7） 避免穿亮色的衣服

8） 用溫色的燈泡做手電筒 （不要使用天色的燈泡，燕子會撞向它的)

8） 在每個收穫後，噴上Love Potion在燕屋農場來增加燕窩的增長。

這的確是個非常好的消息從T先生。的確，這根本不是一個問題。

TOO MANY SWIFTLETS INSIDE. HOW TO HARVEST?

I was on my way to my warehouse, the lorry driver was expecting me as I have some shipments to deliver to the South. My phone rings...and rings. I don't usually answer it as I have a few times booked for this.

It keeps ringing...I pulled my car over and answer. I told myself it better be an important call.

"James I have a big problem here. I can't  harvest the nests in my Swiftlet farm. I've only managed to harvest them twice this year. Could you help me please?"

"Aiyooooo..."

"Yes Mr. T ...if you cannot harvest this month then harvest next month.. lah. What is the problem? ".

"No.. James whenever I go inside my Swiftlet farm the are so many birds inside".

"That is usual lah Mr.T ..I m sure there are few birds inside"

"No,  James ...there are hundreds of them inside, not just a few. Some birds knocked on me and dropped on the floor. I have never seen it like this before. Before it wasn't like this. Ever since I used your Swiftlet sounds there is no one time there no birds inside....so how to harvest?"

"Wow...Mr.T..that is wonderful...how many nests does your Bh has now?"

"Before I changed the sound it has about 200 plus nests ...now after a year it has 500 plus nests. There are so many birds inside totally crowded. James I also discovered that after using your sound the size of the eggs is bigger compare to last time.

Wow........really.....?

Yes,  James I am not joking here ..... I have harvested it before I know it.. You don't laugh at me.

It is no exaggerating. In fact,  this is what he told me. I am really happy for Mr. T. I have asked Mr.T to record a video and email to me. Hopefully in these few weeks I would get it. Once I have it I will post it here. He is using Love Potion combined with B-52 and P9-Havoc.  He is not the first to have experienced this it happened to many Swiftlet farms that use the combined LP & B52 technique.

Since we are talking about harvesting it would be useful to to know some of the things and steps that needed to be done before entering your farm.

Things you need to do before you enter to do the harvesting :

1) Best Harvesting time  10.00 am - 2.00 pm 

2) Switched off all sounds both Ext and Int 

3) Wait 20-30 minutes before entering the Farm.

4) Do not enter in a big group. One by one interval of 10 minutes each. 

5) Keep all doors closed once you are inside 

6) Never harvest on a raining day

7) Avoid wearing bright colored shirt

8) Use a flash light with warm light type bulb (Not Bright day light type, birds will bang on it)

 8) After every  harvest spray farm with Love Potion to increase nests growth.

That is really a very good news from Mr.T. Indeed that is Not a problem at all.

當我收到這封電子郵件的時候我很驚訝。高興與悲傷同在一個時間。

高興....因為燕屋主安裝了Love Potion點滴頭之後，很多燕子來了。這是他第一次看到這麼多燕子來和玩。

悲傷....當他開了燕聲的時候所有的燕子都飛走了。我不敢相信我所聽到的東西，所以我叫他寄一段錄影給我看。

以上是從沙巴的W先生寄來，未經過剪接的原始錄影，安裝了Love Potion點滴頭之後，看到很多燕子在盤旋和飛在他的燕屋農場。這段錄影是在沒有外聲的情況下錄的。

LOVE POTION ATTRACTS SWIFTLETS TO STAY BUT THE OWNER USES THE WRONG SOUND

I was surprised to have received this email. Joy and sadness at the same time.

Joy......... because  many Swiftlets came and play after the owner installed the Love potion drippers. This is The first time he saw so many birds came and play.

Sad........... when he switched on the Swiftlet sound all birds flew Away. I couldn't believe what I heard, so I asked him to send me a video.

I have installed the love potion drippers on each floor, the effect is quite significant where bird shits are found on every floor.

We also discovered a lot of birds flying around on top of our BHs around 3pm during our installation of love potion (all sounds are off). However, they flew off when the sounds are on... Haha

Shocked and surprised. Above is the email from Mr.W of Sabah. There are big problems with the Sound system. The external sound is Killing his farm it chases birds away. The Amplifiers and tweeters he is using May also be the cause. This is not a joke it could happen to your Swiftlet Farms perhaps you have yet to notice it.

With curiosity and sympathy I really want to know where he Gets this External sound from.

This type of external sound is Killing many Swiftlet farms silently. I believe many Swiftlet farms are using the same External sound as Mr.W without knowing how harmful it is. This is a well known External sound and it has been in the market for quite a while.

He bought it from a well known person. I supposed the price in not cheap.

This is not the Stress sound that we all know.

There are  hundreds of Swiftlet sound available  in the market now. Most claimed to be good and effective, but how many are  recorded according to Swiftlet frequency.

Out of the hundreds available Swiftlet sound 90% are copied.... Which means they are not remixed and tuned to a specific frequency.

Go and check your external sound today they might hinder the grow of the bird population of your farm.

In Mr.W case, Love Potion had attracted birds to stay. Lots of bird shits were founded after Love Potion Drippers were installed, Unfortunately the Swiftlet sounds  he was Using had chased all the birds away.

我想在這裡分享一個特別的談話是，一位讀者問"James，這個Hi-Nest放大器可以支持600個高音喇叭嗎?"。

使我驚訝的不是他提出的問題或600個高音喇叭的數目。

而是他的心態和他有的知識使我驚訝。這麽多年來我們一直在開夜車，就是要設計可以發出良好品質燕聲的放大器。我的意思是適合燕子(而不是人類)的頻率。

讓我們看一看Hi-Nest B-52燕子頻率立體數碼放大器的裡面

如果你想要單獨一個Amp可以支持600個或1000個高音揚聲器，在市場上有很多卡拉ok的音響系統可以做到的放大器。所以去買一架卡拉Ok放大器就可以啦。

理論是很簡單，超載和處理過量的大能源或聲波將使聲音破聲和失去能量......然而，它也會損害放大器因而縮短它的性命。

我始終堅持我的音響系統技術，那就是50個高音揚聲器連接右聲道，和50個高音揚聲器連接左聲道。我總是鼓勵燕屋主使用更多個放大器，這就是說一個放大器在每層樓或2個 放大器為每一層樓。

（有了2個內置的風扇-為冷卻系統因而使用性命更加長久為24小時/7天的使用）

原因，如果發生短路或閃電，如果一個放大器被燒虧或損壞了，其餘部分仍能可以正常的工作，你不必擔心整個燕屋農場沒有聲音。銘記，我們只是每月一次到我們的燕屋農場，如果整個燕屋農場沒有聲音，機會是年輕的燕子可能會遷移。

為什麼只要依靠單獨一個放大器在整個3或4層的燕屋農場呢？我參觀過許多燕屋農場和我見過很多燕屋農場有這樣的習慣(1個Amp給全部)。整個2或3層樓的燕屋農場只使用一個放大器的想法已經實行很多年了。它背後真正的原因是承擔工程建設的人想要節省成本。

這就是為什麼你看到很多燕屋農場使用砂磚或單層磚塊來代替粘土磚，雖然節省的成本是那麽的微小。他們知道單層的磚塊會謀殺了屋内環境，但是他們仍然這樣做（也許他們根本不知道）. 最終只有燕屋主將受損失，而不是建造者。對他們來說，只要是關于成本削減而非物質不管是RM100。00還是20仙。它就是要在這裡和那裡削減成本的態度。

Hi-Nest"B-52"並不是一個普通的放大器，它可以發出燕子聲音的訊率。它具有相當低的高音調頻率，這通常在普通的放大器找不到。

其中一個理論最常被很多在這個領域誤解的人之一是那些燕子的聲音應該是高音調的...越高越好。這完全是在錯誤的。不是所有的燕聲都是在高音調...例如：幼小燕子的聲音並不高音調，哢嗒聲音也不是高音調的，產蛋的聲音也不是高音調，還有很多都是不高音調的。

一些人問我為什麼命名這個放大器做HI-Nest B-52。對於那些使用新版本的"B-52極端"他們就知道我的意思。一個功能強大的外聲特別被錄音要用於吸引燕子潛到入口洞。它的工能不止是吸引燕子來和玩，它誘使它們飛潛入和留下來。

WE WANT QUALITY SOUND - A peek inside HI-NEST "B-52 Swiftlet Frequency Stereo Digital Amplifier

I have received many inquiries about the Hi-Nest B-52 amplifier and the response was overwhelming.

One particular conversation I would like to share here is, a  reader asked " James, can the Hi-Nest Amplifier takes 600 tweeters?".

What surprised me was not about the question he asked or the number of 600 tweeters he requested.

It was the mentality and the knowledge he has that surprised me . Over the years we have been burning the midnight oil just to design Amplifiers that would produce good quality Swiftlet sounds . I mean the frequency suitable for Swiftlets ( not human).

( All Hi-Nests B-52 connections are epoxy glued to prevent loose connection. Only expensive Amplifiers have this feature)

A simple answer is ...we are focusing on quality rather than quantity. Would you want a BMW or a Hino Bus? Obviously a bus could take many passengers but you won't enjoy all those driving pleasures and no quality of road handling.

Secondly do you want to own many unsuccessful Swiftlet farms or you would rather own just a few which are very successful?

If you want a single Amp that could take 600 or 1000 tweeters there are plenty of  karaoke sound system Amplifiers on the market that could do that. So go and buy a Karaoke Amplifier instead.

The theory is simple, overloaded and handling too large amount of energy or sound wave would subject to sound distortion and energy lost...subsequently it would also damage the Amplifier thus shorten its life span.

I always stick to my sound system technique which is 50 tweeters for the left and 50 tweeters for the right channel. I always encourage farmers to use multiple Amplifiers which means one Amplifier for every each floor of the farm or 2 amplifiers for every each floor if they want to install many tweeters.

(With 2 inbuilt fans- for cooling the system thus longer life span for 24/7 use)

Reason , if in the event of short circuit or lightning, if one amplifier burned or damaged the rest still functioning and you don't have to worry about the whole Swiftlet farm without sound. Bear in mind we only visit our Swiftlet farms once a month and if the  whole farm have no sound chances are young birds might migrate.

Why only rely on a single Amplifier for the whole 3 or 4 floors? I have visited many Swiftlet farms and I have seen many farms practicing this ( one Amp for all). The Idea of using one Amplifier for whole 2 or 3 floors had been practiced for many years. The real reason behind it is the person who undertakes the project of building the Swiflet farm wants to save cost.

That is why you see many farms using sand bricks or single layered bricks instead of clay bricks even though the differences of cost is nominal. They knew single layer brick wall will kill the micro but they still do it ( maybe they didn't know)., At the end the owner will suffer but not the builder. To them it is all about  costs cutting immaterial whether it is rm100. 00 or 20 cents. It is the attitude of cutting costs here and there.

 Hi-Nests "B-52" is not a common amplifier, it products  sound frequencies  of birds. It has relatively low high pitch frequency which cannot be  found in common amplifiers.

One of the most commonly misunderstood theories of many in this field is that  Swiftlet sounds should be in high pitch..the higher the better. This is totally misleading. Not all Swiftlet sounds are in high pitch..for example : baby chick sound is not in high pitch, clicking sound in not in high pitch, laying eggs sound also not in high pitch  and many of them are not in high pitch.

People asked me why I named the Amplifier HI - Nests B-52. For those who have used the new version of "B-52 Extreme"   they know what I mean. A powerful external  sound particular recorded to be used for attracting birds to dive into the entrance hole. It works more than just attracting birds to come and play, it entices them to dive in and stay.

After having waited for almost a year finally an Amplifier specially designed, tuned, and made for Swiftllet farm is here. My sweat, insomnia and all those hectic schedules finally paid off. I had always wanted an Amplifier that could play Swiftlet sounds well.  Which means it is must be able to  play all those frequencies that could be heard by Swiftlets.

Sadly it can't be found in the market as all Amplifiers for Swiftlet farms in the market now are produced for Vocal (karaoke) and Instrumental ( music) purposes, which means it plays and transmits frequencies that are not sensitive to Swiftlet sounds. Even though some claimed to be but they are not designed by  Swiftlet farmers. They have little knowledge about what constitutes a good Swiftlet sound.

They may have vast experience in karaoke amplifier production but if you talk to them about Swiftlet farming and Swiftlet sounds they might drop dead.

等待了將近一年的時間，拭目以待的，專門為燕屋農場而設計、 調整，和製造的放大器最終出現了。我的汗水、 失眠和那些繁忙的日程終於得到了回報。我一直要有一架能很好發揮燕子聲音的放大器。這意味著它是必須能夠充分的發揮那些可以由燕子聽到的頻率。

可悲的是，它根本無法在市場裏找到這些為的燕屋農場放大器，現在市場裏有的是生產聲樂（卡拉OK）和器樂（音樂）而言的，這也就是說它播放和播出的聲音不是對燕子敏感的頻率。即使一些自稱是但並不是由燕屋主所設計的。他們對什麼可以構成良好的燕子聲音有很少的知識。

他們可能在卡拉OK的放大器生產中有豐富的經驗，但是如果你和他們談到燕屋農場和燕子聲音的時候他們可能一竅不通。

In order to have an amplifier to do that it must be designed and tuned specifically for Swiftlet Sounds ( Swiftlet frequency). As we all know different sounds produce different frequencies. Swiftlet sounds have different sets of frequencies which is different from human vocal or instrumental sound frequencies. In the production of Amplifier different types of capacitors are used to set and control the sound (A capacitor has An effect on AC signals, which is what audio is. Source Wikipedia).

Having the knowledge of Swiftlet sound would enable one to select the correct capacitors and other components that make up an Amplifier Specially for Swiftlet sound.

Since what I had always wanted is not available  in the market the only solution is to design and produce one. A good friend of mine who has worked in the Sound System manufacturing industry for more than 20 years encouraged me to do so. I guess he is doing it so because he too owns a Swiftlet farm himself. Fed up with the sound quality produced by those Amplifiers from his Swiftlet farm he said..." James its time for you to design, tune and produce an Amplifier specially for Swiftlet farm".

因為我一直想要的東西在市場中找不到，唯一的解決辦法是，設計和生產一個。我的好朋友，他在製造聲音系統的行業已經有超過20年的經驗鼓勵我這樣做。我想他這樣做因為他也自己擁有的燕屋農場。厭倦了對那些放大器在他燕屋農場產生出來的聲音，他說......"James該是時候你自己設計了、調整和生產為燕屋農場的放大器"。

I had intended to do this  for a long time ever since I got involved in Swiftlet farming. But I was too busy with other things.. you know.. Farm visits, Love potion production, consultation and so on. At the same time I was also frustrated with the many amplifiers that are unable to bring out the quality sound and appropriate frequencies from many recorded External and Internal Swiftlet sounds. Many Swiftlets chirping sounds were unable to transmit out from these Amplifiers as the kHz was set for the karaoke and instrumental purpose. Along the way many chirping sounds were lost and the potentiality of a good sound was never utilized.  In other words no point having a good sound if your Amplifier cannot transmit them out.

This cannot be noticed by most of us unless one has a vast knowledge in Swiftlet sound. (What frequency is baby sound, what frequency is adult male sound, what frequency is mating sound and so on).

我很早就本來打算這樣做，自從我自己有參與燕屋農場。但是由於我太忙於其他事情...你知道的。。燕屋農場參觀、 Love Potion的生產、 諮詢等等。同時我也對許多放大器感到很沮喪，因爲它無法從許多記錄的燕子外聲和內聲帶出其品質健全及適當的頻率。很多燕子的叫聲聽起來不能轉交出去從那些放大器，因爲它的kHz是調在卡拉OK和器樂的目的。這樣一來，許多唧唧聲音也被丟失了和一個很好的聲音的潛力從來沒有得到利用。換句話說，有一個良好的聲音根本做不出作用，如果你的放大器不能傳輸它們。

這一點不能由大多數的人注意到除非我們對燕子聲音有豐富的知識。（什麼頻率是幼燕子的頻率，什麽頻率是成年雄燕子的聲音，什麼頻率是交配的聲音，等等）。

Hi-Nest B-52 Amplifier is  specially made for this purpose. The sole intention of producing Hi-Nest B-52 amplifier was to bring all those chirping sounds that other Amplifiers can not do.

The Project of producing an Amplifier "Hi-Nest" B-52 specially for Swiftlet farms started a year ago. Many Swiftlet sounds tuned to Swiftlet frequency  were sent to the Amplifier manufactures and  prototypes were produced. They were requested to produce amplifiers that can play Swiftlet chirping frequency effectively. Only a few understood what I was looking for. After many corresponds and  trials finally the best was chosen. And now after a year Hi-Nest B-52 Amplifier is out.

It has individual left and right control knob. That means you can control the volume individually. For example if you want one section of the Swiftlet farm to attract more Swiftlet to fly and play there you could increase the volume in that section.

Similarly for external sound...I would prefer the sound of the entrance hole  10% louder than the Hexagonal sound. Birds that play at Hexagonal tweeters are more likely to dive into the entrance hole if the Entrance hole sound is louder.

Hi-Nests B-52 has 2 inbuilt fans to cool down for 24/7 use. One fan can be seen at the rear another one is inside next to the cooling fins.  2 channels for the left and 2 for the right.
