It seems now  Raw nests  can be exported. Hope everything goes well and the demand of Raw nests would increase.

This would push up the price of Raw nests and the whole Swiftlet farming Industry as well.

Those who have good and successful Swiftlet Farms are at advantage now.

Swiftlet farming is a long term investment. It takes time, it may take up to 3-5 years to see fruitful result.

It is not like consumer products where production takes few day perhaps few hour to produce. In Swiftlet farming it takes years.

The question Readers often ask : " Sifu James, the Nest price is so low now should we not go into Swiftlet farming and wait till the price goes higher"?

When price is good everybody would jump in. Then there will be many Swiftlet farms built. Swiftlet farm doesn't produce nests over night. It takes years , at least 3 years to see a good returns. By the time ...3 years later the price might be different from 3 years before. Market economy, political situation, etc may change.

為我的讀者建立另外一個燕屋农场。3層樓，只有頂楼被轉換成燕屋农场。

頂楼是最難找租客的。即使有租客，租金也很低。所以D先生决定把它變成一個燕屋农场。

他是一個充滿歡樂和随便的人。他說： 即使一年只有几个燕窝他也很高兴。他没有很大的期望。他只想要...，只要他的家人可以吃一些燕窝他們就心满意足了。他把它作為一个獎金，因為頂楼已被丢空了很多年。

商店總有它的優勢作為一个燕屋农场大廈的两边都得到保護，以免受太陽的暴晒。

改装的成本是非常的低，僅需幾个星期就能完成了。

Shop Lot Swiftlet Farm

Building another Swiftlet farm for my reader. A 3 storey building with only the top floor converted into a Swiftlet farm.

The top floor is difficult to get tenant. Even if it does often the rental is low. So Mr.D decided to turn it into a Swiftlet farm.

He is a joyous and easy going person. He said even with few nests a year he is happy. He doesn't expect much. All he wants is.... as long as his family could consume them he is satisfied. He takes it as a bonus since the top floor has been vacated for many years.

Shop lot always has it advantages as both sides of the building are protected and shielded from heat of the sun.

The cost of converting is very much lower and it only takes few weeks to complete.

No worries of predators like Owl, Musang, Bat, etc. unless located very near plantation.

No worries of thief.

Stand alone located in plantation are often without water and electricity supply. They use Solar panels to generate electricity to play the Sound system. This is very troublesome as sometimes the voltage generated is not sufficient during rainy and cloudy days. These are the important days where young birds come out in large numbers to play during rainy and cloudy days. If the Sound system can't function due to low voltage the Swiftlet farm will lose it advantages.

While some are refraining from converting Shop Lot into a Swiftlet farm due to some so called regulations which has been imposed and later abandoned and again imposed..ding..dong..for the past 20 years which I anticipated it will go for the next 100 years (Ding Dong and Ding Dong again).

While many are waiting for a clear implementable regulation Mr.D could be harvesting many many kgs of Edible Birds Nests.

TO PUSH UP THE NEST POPULATION OF A SWIFTLET FARM THAT HAS 1400 NESTS.

Remember the Swiftlet farm that poured Love Potion into the tubes and nail them onto the nesting planks. (The article was posted in May 2014).

The owner wants me to assist him to push up the nests population. He is a regular user of Love Potion for many years. Currently there are about 1400 nests in this Swiftlet farm. If it is done correctly, it shouldn't be a problem to reach above 2400 nests by year end. All it needs to do is to retain 50% of it new off springs. Which many Swiftlet farms are struggling to achieve this. It is not impossible. All it needs is to do it correctly and precisely. This is where knowledge and skill comes in.

To push up the nests population a Colony divider is needed. It has to be erected at the correct area. This Swiftlet farm has 1400 nests, not 140 nests. It has to be done carefully and precisely. Observation of the flying path and the the light density is vital. Understanding of these vital factors help in locating the best area to erect the partition.

The Chart shows the location of the nests. Most are built away from the Inter hole (LAL). It indicates if the some changes are to be done around the Inter hole areas then these areas would also have as many nests as those that are built away from the Inter hole. A good observation is needed in order to locate the best location and decide on the size of the colony divider.

小燕屋農場 SMALL SWIFTLET FARM

這些照片是由一位读者發送給我的。他想要我的建議和意見来如何改善他的燕屋農場里的燕子人口。他曾经試努力但是却不成功。他想要知道我是否能從這些照片看的出任何的問題。

通過看看那手画图，我就知道它的大小是一個缺點。11x40尺的大小是要旋专是一個麻煩。此外，鋅屋顶和一層砖，而且还沒有石灰就谋杀了這一切。

我沒有問他燕屋農場里燕子的數目因為我感覺到災難性所以不需要问。

燕屋主告訴我这个燕屋農場位于Pekan，还说在这里很多人會為這種規模和設計又称小農場。它是一種趨勢，他說。

我回答說："不管燕屋農場是小或大。最重要的是一個燕屋農場必須滿足所需的標準，設計必須考考量到燕子喜歡什麼，和不喜歡什么。

燕屋主对燕子的行為知道很少。但是他却知道有關燕屋農場的術語像LAL、 Rumah Monyet等等，但是他不知道如何解釋它們。例如，它是什麼用的，何時使它們，与其他設計相比，它有什么優勢，它是否适合这个特别的地区，等等。

知道這些術語也起不了任何作用。必須知道如何運用它才行。

于他交谈一会之后，他说出他的燕屋農場已經开始了4年的时间，但是那裡却连一個燕窝都没有。他說： 在這裡有許多的燕屋農場面临類似同樣的問題"零內部"和所有都是又称小燕屋農場。

他適用了這種類型的設計從他互動的論壇。

讓我們找出原因。最初，它是一個狗洞，然後後他發現燕子不願飞入才改變为開放屋頂。

從画图看来环绕区是10x11尺，開放屋頂的入口為4x4。這就是说燕子飞入開放屋頂的入口洞之後，只有5尺作為跑道然後燕子需要马上刹车“按刹车"到顶点之后才可以向左轉。任何錯誤它們會击中墙壁然后死亡。

這还不止，那3尺的第二個入口洞也是一個障礙，但是有什么辦法這個燕屋農場只有有限的空間。我不會怪第二個入口洞的大小。如果它是開的更大的话，更多光線會滲透到燕屋農場。這將會把整個燕屋農場照亮（燕子不喜歡）。在华文它是叫作"LPPL......"......都是相同。左、 右、 前，後, 中间也是死悄悄。

別誤会我...並不是所有小的燕屋農場都註定要失敗的。也有成功的小燕屋農場，但是那些成功的燕屋農場有很好設計和採取了燕子喜歡什麼和不喜欢什么...... 比如。飛行路徑、 內部控制等等。

由於它的大小，它是很難控制光线的密度。因此，燕屋主把环绕区涂上黑色的漆以減少耀眼。

在這種情況下，这个燕屋農場的大小是很不利的。第二個分區已經用了6尺多和环绕区也用了10 尺。現在只剩下24尺来作为作窝区。区区24尺的长度，光线可以很容易的从环绕区達到後面的作窝区。所以這必须得糾正，但是燕屋主不知道如何做。他所知道的就是在墙壁涂上黑漆，这是不夠好的。

但是他們沒有想過如果燕子完全不在燕屋農場里做燕窝嗎？就算有角落燕窩，至少还比没有任何燕窝更好吗。

屋內的溫度是谋杀燕子的。我不需要問他内部的溫度是什么。一個單層的磚沒有石灰......你知道我的意思。

在炎熱的季節這个燕屋農場就像烤箱一样，很容易達到34度C或許更高。没有墙壁的防热材料當晚上溫度下降的时候，內部的溫度會低过25度C.

當然，燕子会感觉到这一点。它們知道如果它們建燕窝在这样的环境下，它們的蛋不可能孵化出来，胚胎會死。所以还是找一个更好更有利的環境，换句话说一個更好的燕屋農場，也許鄰居的燕屋農場。

就是這樣，它是歸結于您有多理解和瞭解燕子的行為。一旦你獲得了這方面的知識，那么你就可以建个燕子喜欢的燕屋農場。

SMALL SWIFTLET FARM

These pictures were sent to me by a reader. He wants my advice and opinion on how to improve his farm's Swiftlet population. He had tried hard but to no avail. He wants to know whether I could identify any problems from these pictures.

By looking at the draw up plan, I knew the size is a disadvantage. The 11 x 40 feet size is a trouble for maneuvering. Furthermore with a zinc roofing and one layer brick without plaster is killing it all.

I didn't ask him about the number of birds inside as I sensed disastrous so no point of asking.

The owner told me this Swiftlet farm is located in Pekan, cited many people are going for such size and design aka Small farm. It is a trend he said.

I replied, " It doesn't matter small or big the farm is. Most important a Swiftlet farm must meet all the standard required, where the design must take into consideration of what swiftlets like and what swiftlets dislike.

The owner knows very little about Swiftlet behavior. He knows lots about the terms of Swiftlet farming like LAL, Rumah Monyet, etc but he doesn't know how to interpret them. For example, What it is for, when to use them, what advantage it has over other designs, whether it is suitable for a particular area and so on.

Knowing the term won't get you anywhere. One must know how to apply it. 

After speaking for awhile he reveled that his Swiftlet farm had operated for 4 years now and there is not even a single nest inside. He said there are many similar Swiftlet farms here facing the same problem "inside zero" after many years and all are the aka Small size Swiftlet farms.

He adapted this type of design from Forums where he interacted.

Let's us find out why. Initially it was a Dog Kennel then changed it to an Open roof after he discovered birds reluctant to fly in.

From the plan the roving is 10 x 11 feet, the Open roof  Entrance is 4 x 4. That means after the Open roof where the Birds dive in, there is only 5 feet left as a runway then instantly the Birds have to "press break" to the max before it could turn left. Any mistake they would bang on the wall and die.

That's not all the 3 feet second Entrance is also a barrier but what to do this Swiftlet farm has limited space. I don't blame the size of the second Entrance. If it were to open bigger then more light would penetrate into the farm. This would brighten up the entire farm (disliked by birds). In Chinese it is call " LPPL.. Lam Pa Pa Lam"....all the same. Left, right, front, back and center also die.

Don't mistaken me.....it is not all small Swiftlet farms are destined to fail. There are successful small Swiftlet farms too, but those successful ones are very well designed and had taken consideration of what Birds like and what birds dislike...eg. the flying path, internal control and so on.

Because of its size, it is very hard to control the light density. Therefore the owner painted the roving wall with black paint to reduce the glaring.

In such situation the size of this Swiftlet farm is a disadvantage. The second partition had already taken up 6 feet plus and the roving 10 feet. Now all left for the Nesting is only 24 feet. With a short length 24 feet left the light from the roving can easily reach the back of the roving. So this has to be rectified, but the owner doesn't how to do it. All he knows is painting the wall black which is not good enough.

As you could see from the pictures above, the internal tweeters were installed in the middle and the side of the planks. There are not installed at the corner boards. Why? The reason which many believe, if tweeters were to install at the corner boards nests built there will be smaller and often consider as corner nests.

If tweeters were to install at the middle of the planks then nests built there will be straight nests that would fetch a better price.

But they have never thought of what if Swiftlets don't build nests in the farm at all? Isn't it is better to have corner nests rather than not having any nests at all.

The temperature inside is killing the birds. I don't have to ask him what the Temperature is. A single layered sand brick without plaster...you know what I mean.

In Hot season this Swiftlet farm is like an oven easily reaching 34C perhaps more. Without wall insulation when temperature falls at night the internal temperature would fall below 25C.

Naturally, Swiftlets could sense this. They knew if they build nests in such Swiftlet farm their eggs can never hatch and the embryos will die. So it is better to find a more conducive environment, in other word a better Swiftlet farm...perhaps neighbor' Swiftlet farm.

So there you go, it is all boil down to how well you could interpret and understand Birds behavior. Once you had acquired this knowledge then you could build a Swiftlet farm that like by Swiftlets.

Now I have to come out with a plan to safe this Swiftlet farm. It is not easy but it can be done.

上個星期被邀请參觀位於马六甲的燕屋農場。我参观的这个燕屋農場已經开始了很多年，但是却没有滿意的結果。位於一個多燕子的地區，而且还是最早被建在這裡的首幾家燕屋農場之一，為什麼不是做的很好呢？肯定有什麼地方出了錯。

L先生，燕屋主曾邀請我無數次参观這個燕屋農場，但由於我没有在國內所以不能做到。我告訴他我一旦回來了我一定顶下日期。我建議他使用Love Potion激素香氣，看看会怎麼回事。那是幾個月前。上星期他又打電話給我。......"James我從来沒有見過這麼多的燕子在我的燕屋農場玩。這是令人難以置信" 这就是他說的話。

後來那個週末，我們上午9:30在莎阿南见面，然后去马六甲。

商业中心离马六甲鎮的第一個收費站不遠到地方。在这里有很多的商店，大部分早已成为燕屋農場。有許多许多的燕屋農場在這裡，但不是所有都成功的。正如我曾所說 "勝利者得到所有，失败者什麼都沒有"。建築燕屋農場在一個这样的地区，有很多的燕屋農場在这里不保證成功，除非你知道你在做什麼。

为什么這个燕屋農場失敗呢？我相信有很多的事情都做得不好。讓我們把真相找出来。

通過觀察燕子屎，這個燕屋農場吸引了很多燕子尤其是年輕的燕子。看看那个环绕區的照片。整個环绕區的牆壁上都佈滿了新鮮的糞便。它表明許多年輕的燕子已飛進这个燕屋農場，而且还呆了很長的時間，足以留下它們的標記。燕子屎增加在噴灑了Love Potion在牆上之後。

這个燕屋農場吸引了大量的燕子，但是为什么燕子不住在这里呢？這總是另我感到很困惑，我總是想找出答案，因為它能豐富我的知識。

問題清楚地指出，整個燕屋農場被涂上黑漆。在木板頂部的天花板也不放過。幾乎整個燕屋農場是在完全黑暗中。我個人不建議燕屋農場被涂上黑漆，除非是必要。如果是需要的话，也是選定的地方，不会是整個燕屋農場。

建這個燕屋農場的人一定是從某個地方有見過或某個人。在這裡更本沒有對比，这样对年輕的燕子会很困难，尤其要飛到更深入的做窝地方。有證據表明，燕子屎都集中在在环绕區。更进裡面就没有發現燕子屎了。

如果你是有經驗的，你會注意到這一点，燕子的克力聲（回聲定位）的声音在黑暗的地方才可以被听见而不是在亮的地方。要體驗這個您可以到您的燕屋農場，不要灯开，然后站在那里你會聽到很多燕子克力克力的聲音。然後才开灯把整個燕屋農場都照亮，等待一段時間你会注意到克力的聲音慢慢地減少和消失。

年輕的燕子使用光來指導它們飞行，而不象老燕子使用克力聲音（回聲定位）。它們還没有掌握到在完全黑暗的情况下飞行因此它們经常在环绕區周圍徘会，如果它們要做燕窝也会在较亮的地方。然而，老的燕子往往在较暗的地方做燕窝因為它們可以在完全黑暗中導航。年輕的燕子尚未制定好克力聲音（回聲定位）與老燕子不同。

如果要你的燕屋農場得成功，可以吸引大量的年輕燕子，那么你的燕屋農場必須有良好的光线密度的控制来適合所有的燕子......年輕的燕子和老的燕子都是相似的。但是L先生的燕屋農場並没有提供到这一点。他的燕屋農場不是太暗就是太亮。

L先生知道燕子不飛入到做窝区只是在环绕區。他懷疑該燕屋農場是否太暗，因此他打開另一個入口孔大小是3x2'期待燕子会使用這個新的入口洞。可悲的是，它起不了作用。新入口洞不是它們的飛行路徑。当我們在环绕區的時候，我們可以看到没有燕子使用新的入口洞。它們仍然使用舊的入口洞。新開的入口洞導致更多的問題，因为現在陽光可以直接的進入燕屋農場，导致太亮。

千万要記住，光线的密度必須在其最佳的級別，以容納所有的燕子，既不太暗，也不太亮。我想這就是最難做到的一点...但也不是做不到的。如果你想要暗，那么就涂上黑漆，有許多燕屋農場也是這麼做（失敗的燕屋農場）。如果你想要更亮，打開一個更大或更多的入口洞。不是很容易嗎？

但是要完美，既不太暗，也不太亮是不容易實現的，除非您对燕子有深入的瞭解。

另一個問題是，為什麼所有的高音揚聲器都被安裝在木板的中間，而角落和側面都被遗忘了？我不知道是誰出的主意。燕子是绕圈而飛翔的从墙壁1-2尺的地方（飛行路徑） 因此，是更加適當如果它們被安装在一邊。通常，中間部分的高音喇叭是環繞聲音的目的。理想的情況下，高音喇叭是安裝在一側，因為這是燕子的飛行路徑。又來了，如果你不明白什麼是飛行路徑，那你又怎麼知道在那里安装高音喇叭的位置。

正如我所觀察到，所有的高音喇叭都不是安装在壁角板的下面。它們都被安装在約6"-1“ 從壁角板。它是故意被做這样做的。再一次，是誰的主意？我們讲的是事實......实际。沒有猜測的遊戲。我們不可能否認燕子喜歡做燕窝在角落處。最早被做在燕屋農場里的燕窝都是在高音喇叭的上面。高音喇叭的作用是一個軌道以便年輕的燕子可以容易的棲息在那里。這就是為什麼我們使用保丽龙、 沙爹棍子等等作為轨道。

沒有高音喇叭在壁角板意味著这个燕屋農場防止年輕的燕子做燕窝。

此外，有這麼多的排氣孔在這個燕屋農場。從外面的熱空氣能够輕鬆地進入燕屋農場，这样使內部環境不穩定。不一定越多就是越好，它必須處於平衡狀態。

有很多問題在这个燕屋農場。問題的清單可以没完没了。現在它是我的職責，来解決這些問題和扭轉這個失敗的燕屋農場。我必须出一个改造計畫给L先生。

在我参观的时候，我向L先生解釋什麼造成了所有這些問題。我甚至給他看如何觀察光线的密度，直接指向如和一个被开放的一节，另一个會受到影響。我教他如何觀察變化，教他如何擬訂調查結果。指導他從A到Z有關燕子和未來的投資。就像一對一的輔導...哈...哈......

參觀完之後，我們去吃午飯。L先生告訴我。."James，今天我學到了很多。如果一個人对燕子行為的知道甚少，那么他如何可以建立一個良好的燕屋農場呢?"。

現在他看到更多的錯誤在他的燕屋農場，曾经他以為他的燕屋農場是最佳的顧問所建的。

在未来的幾個星期他會更痛苦。因为他知道的越多他看到更多的錯誤。

有時候，最好是不要知道得太多，讓运气来作主就好像許多人一樣。

POORLY DONE SWIFTLET FARM - 80% is BUILT LIKE THIS "BLACK FARM".

Last week I was invited to visit a Swiftlet farm located in Melaka. The Swiftlet I visited had operated for many years with unsatisfied result. Located in a Prime Bird Zone and one of the very first few Swiftlet farms built here, why it is not doing well? There must be something wrong somewhere.

The owner Mr.L had  invited me numerous times to visit this Swiftlet farm, but I couldn't make it as I was not in the country. I told him I shall set a date once I am back. I recommended him to use Love Potion Hormone Aroma and see how thing goes. That was a couple of months ago. Last week he called me..." James I have never seen so many birds playing in my farm before. It is incredible" that was what he said.

Later that weekend we meet up at 9.30am at Shah Alam and head towards Melaka.

A business center not far from the first toll to Melaka Town. There are lots of shop lots here where most had turned into Swiftlet farm. There are many Swiftlet farms here, but not all are successful. As I had said ”winner takes all looser left with nothing". Building a Swiftlet farm in an area that has lots of Swiftlet farms will not guarantee success unless you know what you are doing. 

Why this Swiftlet farm failed?  I am sure there are lots of things not done properly. Let’s find out. 

By observing from the Swiftlet shit spots, this farm attracts lots of birds’ especially young birds. Look at the pictures of the Roving Area. The whole walls of the roving area are covered with fresh shits. It indicates many young birds had flown into the farm to play and stayed for long enough to leave behind their markings. The shit spots increased after Love Potion was sprayed onto the walls.

This Swiftlet farm had attracted lots of birds, but how come they are not staying?  This has always puzzled me and I always like to find out as it would enrich my knowledge.

The problem was clearly indicated, the whole Swiftlet farm was painted with black paint. The ceilings on top the nesting planks were not spared. Practically the whole farm is in total darkness. I personally do not recommend Switlet farm to be painted with black paint unless it is necessary. If needed only selected areas are painted, but not the whole farm.

The person who built this Swiftlet farm must have seen and learned from somewhere or someone. There is no contrast here and it will be difficult for young Swiftlets to fly deeper into the Nesting Areas. Evidence shows, the shit spots are concentrated at the Roving Area. Father inside no shit spots are spotted.

If you are experience enough you would notice this, clicking sound (echolocation) only can be heard in dark area not bright area. To experience this go to your Swiftlet farms, do not switch on the light stand there you will hear lots of clicking sounds from the birds. Then switch on the florescent light where the whole farm is brighten up, wait a while you will notice the clicking sounds slowly reduced and fade away.

Young Swiftlets use light to guide them to maneuver unlike older Swiftlets which use clicking sounds (echolocation). They are yet to master the navigation in total darkness therefore they often hang around Roving Area and if they do build nests it will be at the bright areas. Whereas for old Swiftlets they often venture to the darker areas as they could navigate well in total darkness. Young Swiftlets have yet to develop the good clicking sounds  (echolocation) unlike Old Swiftlets.

( The birds shits marking reduced once it reached the second Entrance hole. A strong indication of birds don't fly into the nesting Areas.)

If you want your Swiftlet farm to be successful and could attract large number of young Swiftlet birds then your Swiftlet farm must have a good control of light density that suit all....Young and Old swiftlets alike. But Mr. L Swiftlet farm doesn't offer this. His Swiftlet farm is too dark then too bright.

Mr.L knows Swiftlets are not flying into the Nesting Areas except the Roving. He suspected the farm is too dark therefore he opened another Entrance Hole a 3x2’ size expecting Swiftlets to use this new Entrance Hole. Sadly it doesn't work. The new Entrance Hole is not their flying path. While we were at the Roving Area we could see no Swiftlets using the new Entrance hole. They still use the old Entrance Hole. The new opening causes more problems as the sunlight now could penetrate directly into the farm making it too bright.

Remember the light density must be at its best level to accommodate all Swiftlets, neither too dark nor too bright. I guess this is the hardest to achieve..Not that it can't be done. If you want it to be dark paint it all with black paint which many Swiftlet farms are doing it (failed farm). If you want it to be brighter open a bigger or more Entrance holes. Isn't it easy?

But to be perfect, neither too dark nor too bright is not easy to achieve, unless one has in-depth knowledge in Swiftlet farming.

Another problem was, why all Tweeters were installed at the middle of the Nesting planks while the corner and the side were left out? I wonder whose idea was this. Swiftlets fly in a circle motion 1- 2 feet from the wall (flying path) therefore it is more appropriate to have them fixed on the side. Commonly the middle section tweeters are for surround sound purpose. Ideally Tweeters are to be installed at the side as this is the flying path of Swiftlets. Here you go again, if you don't understand what is flying path then how do you know where to install the tweeters.

 As I could observe all Tweeters are not fixed below the corner boards. They are fixed about 6"-1' away from the corner boards. It was purposely done this way. Again whose idea was this? We are talking about fact...factual. No guessing game here. We can't deny Swiftlets like to build nests at corners. Most first nests built in Swiftlet farms are on top of tweeters. The tweeters work as a track and it is much easier for young Swiftlets to perch there. That is why we use Styrofoam nest, Satey stick, etc to work as a track.

Not having Tweeters at the corner boards means this Swiftlet farm is preventing young Swiftlet from built nests.

Besides that, there are so many Vent-holes in this Swiftlet farm. The hot air from outside could easily enter into the farm making the internal environment unstable. It is not always more is better, it must be at equilibrium.

There are lots of problems in this Swiftlet farm. The problem list could go on. Now it is my duty to solve them and turn around this failed Swiftlet farm. I have to come out with a total revamp plan for Mr.L.

During my visit I explained to Mr.L what had caused all those problems. I even showed him how to observe the light density, pointing the direct where one section is opened up the other would be affected. I taught him how to observe the changes, taught him how elaborate the findings. Guiding him from A-Z pertaining to Swiftlet farming and future investment. It was like a one to one coaching..ha..ha...

After the visit we went for lunch. Mr.L told me.."James, I have learned a lot today. If one knows very little about Swiftlet behavior then how can he build a good Swiftlet farm?".

Now he is seeing more mistakes in farm where he once thought the builder of his farm was the best consultant.

In many weeks to come he will be more miserable. The more he knows the more mistakes he sees.

Well sometimes it is better not to know too much and leave it to luck like many did.

成功的燕屋农场在发展的城市 SUCCESFUL SWIFTLET FARM IN A DEVELOPED TOWN

實際上，燕屋农场可以做在任何地方。不管它是在農村或城市地區。顯然的，如果被做在農村地區，有良好的种植，燕子的人口將增長得更快。

但這並不代表燕屋农场不可以做在城市。尤其是这个位於Shah Alam的燕屋农场。它做得很好。你想不到它会做的那么好。它隨時比那些位於農村地區的燕屋农场更加出色。

它开始已经有好多年了。我以前經常從這間五金店買很多五金用品。良好的服務加上合理的價格。

外部聲音的音量設置得非常低，这样才不会吸引注意...那些不需要的注意。如果不是因為那些在店上面的天空盤旋的燕子，大家也可能不会注意到它。

為什麼這個燕屋農場做的很好，即使它位於在城市地區...一个很发展的城市地區呢？

簡單的回答是... 它做的正確（对的）。燕子人口最終將會增加。有一大不同之間就是，它做的正確和等待，和它做的錯誤和等待。很顯然，後者不管你等了多久也永遠不會成功。

一个你應該問你自己的問題，在等待你的燕屋農場達到這100、200,500个燕窝等等......你的燕屋農場是做得正確嗎？

很驚訝，因为这张照片是在中午被拍到的。我能看到燕子在追逐，互相交配季節的跡象。

這是我們想要的东西。我們想要看到這些燕子在追逐。在很短的時間内它們將配對，然后做燕窝。

因此，它是關于您的燕屋農場有多好可以吸引燕子和做的多好，這样才可以吸引燕子居住和做燕窝。

SUCCESFUL SWIFTLET FARM IN A DEVELOPED TOWN

Practically, Swiftlet farming can be done anywhere. Be it in the rural or the town area. Obviously if it is being done in the rural areas which have good vegetation the population of the birds would grow faster.

But this doesn't mean Swiftlet farm can not be done in the town area. This particular Swiftlet farm located in S.Alam. It is doing very well. You may not expected it to do so good. It could anytime out perform many Swiftlet farms located in the rural area.

It has operated for many years. I used to buy many of  my hardware stuffs from this shop. A good service with reasonable price.

The external sound volume is set very low as not to attract attention..those unwanted attention. One may not noticed it if it is not because of those Swiftlets circling above the shop.

Why this Swiftlet farm is doing OK even it is located in the town area...a developed town area?

The simple answer is....... doing it correctly (right). The population will increase eventually. There is a big different between doing it correctly and wait, and doing it wrongly and wait. Obviously the latter one no matter how long one waited it will never be successful.

The question you should ask yourself while waiting for your Swiftlet farm to reach  that 100, 200,500 nests, etc...is your Swiftlet farm being done correctly?

Quite amazed as the pictures were taken at noon. I could see Swiftlets chasing each other the sign of mating season.

This is what we wanted. We want to see those Swiftlet chasing. In no time they will pair and  nest would be built.

So it is all about how good your farm could attract birds and how good it is being done to attract birds to stay and build nests.
